Who doesn’t love Grilled Cheese?? Grilled Cheese sandwiches are one of my all time favorite foods. They are great at every meal and kids love them. This recipe is easy to make and truly delicious. Your traditional Grilled Cheese will never taste the same after having one made with our famous Chipotle Aioli sauce!
Prepare the SaSo Chipotle Aioli first.
SaSo Chipotle Aioli Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Mayo or Vegan Mayo
- 3 Tbls SaSo Red Pepper Chipotle Hot Sauce
- Juice of 1/2 Lime
- 1 tsp chopped and roasted Garlic
- Salt to taste
- SaSo Chipotle Aioli Method:
Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth in texture and red in color. Add more SaSo Red Pepper Chipotle Hot Sauce if you want more flavor and heat in your Aioli sauce. You can use this sauce for so many different recipes! The possibilities are endless.
Once you have prepared your SaSo Chipotle Aioli, build your sandwich…
Chipotle Grilled Cheese Sandwich Ingredients:
- 3 Tbls prepared SaSo Chipotle Aioli
- 2 slices Sourdough Bread, or bread of your choice
- 2 slices Extra Sharp Cheese, or cheese of your choice
Chipotle Grilled Cheese Sandwich Method:
Spread both pieces of bread evenly with the prepared SaSo Chipotle Aioli, then place the cheese on top of the sauce. You can always add additional ingredients to your sandwich if desired. Some of my favorite additions include: spinach leaves, bacon, grilled onions, avocado and tomatoes. Close your sandwich and butter the outsides of both pieces of bread.
Place your buttered sandwich on a heated griddle or panini maker. Cook for a few minutes on each side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has completely melted.
Serve with spiced sweet potato fries and use the left over SaSo Chipotle Aioli as a dipping sauce!
